tarantula’s As There are around 700 kinds, or species, of Tarantulas. Tarantulas are found in the rain forests and jungles of South and Central America, in Africa and in the southern america  Many Tarantulas live in burrows underground. They will either use their fangs to dig them or else take someone else's burrow-home.Despite the Goliath bird eater appearance, the size of its fangs and its reputation, this spider is entirely harmless and passive toward humans — as are the vast majority of tarantulas around the world. The spiders do have venom, but their bite would hardly compare to the sting of a wasp.Though all tarantulas are venomous and some bites cause serious discomfort that might persist for several days, so far there is no record of a bite causing a human fatality. In general, the effects of the bites of all kinds of tarantula are not well known. It can use its fangs to inflict a bite, or it can use its urticating (barbed and mildly venomous) abdominal hairs to cause soft tissue or eye irritation. Fortunately, while painful and aggravating, the tarantula's fangs or or hairs appear to cause no long term damage in most cases. It will look like a bee sting, too, with redness and some swelling. Because the tarantula's venom (poison) is weak, it's unusual to have more severe reactions involving other parts of the body. Tarantulas comprise a group of large and often hairy arachnids belonging to the Theraphosidae family of spiders, of which approximately 900 species have been identified.Tarantulas have many natural enemies in the wild, including lizards, snakes, spider-eating birds, and even wasps. A female tarantula hawk (a large, solitary wasp) can find a tarantula, sting it, and then drag its stunned body to a special burrow that she has prepared.Predators that the tarantula would be afraid of are weasels, hawks, owls, skunks and snakes. Their worst enemy is the Spider-Wasp. The female wasp will paralyze the spider by stinging it. She then digs a hole and puts the spider and an egg into it.tarantula is a large spider in the infraorder Mygalomorphae. (In fact, the French word for tarantula is mygale). The mygalomorphs differ from the araneomorphs, the so-called "true" spiders, in a number of ways. Chiefly, their fangs point down, whereas the fangs of true spiders join in a pincer-like arrangement. and those are the fact
